She loves

silence on all subjects,

sex in the morning,

small things found while walking,

and the shape of teeth.

I could compose an impressive likeness

from memory, only one

hair angling against an urban Sun,

Pile up anticipation of touch,

like twigs about to be set aflame.

Time between motion fattens, grows heavy

with unstill liquid,

I cannot construct

 my own capacity to love

caving in on itself.
